EARTHQUAKE!!!

 ::: EARTHQUAKE!!! ::: MARCH 11TH, 2025 :::

This morning I was having dreams of traveling around the world with my boyfriend Vi. I felt like I was in a boat with him, being rocked around the ship.

Then suddenly I woke up to banging and roaring sounds. I realized something wasn't quite right.

My electric typewriter lay in rest on top of a rather weak camping table. It was banging against the furniture surrounding it, and I was being throw around in my bed.

That's what I realized as I woke up about 7:15 this morning, and it was quite the surreal experience.

For the first time in my life, I found myself experiencing the incredible force of a 5.3 Richter scale earthquake. This news article recorded the event: https://t.ly/OS2F2

I went to check with my parents. My mother definitely felt the quake happening and woke up to it as well, although my dad simply thought that it had been my mother shaking up their bed quite violently - an amusing thought to say the least.

Nobody is hurt, everyone and everything is okay. The news only reports some minor structural damage to certain buildings.

Still, it was the first earthquake that I have definitely felt in my life, and that ought to be something to remember!
